Traveling around Paris is relatively easy for visitors as well as locals. The Metro underground system is easy to understand, efficient and reaches everywhere even the most enthusiastic tourist would want to visit.

It wouldn’t be possible to visit Paris without climbing to the top of the world famous Eiffel Tower. The tower is a symbol of Paris and it is a good landmark to not get lost. Illuminated at the night, it dominates the city’s skyline.

Champs Elysees is another must see in Paris. It is the main vein of the city, home of the famous designer label shops and the best restaurants. It is an ‘up-market’ area that attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Paris is also home to the famous Louvre Museum, that houses over three hundred thousand exhibits, but not all of them are ever on display. It is really easy to spend hours at Louvre, absorbed by all the famous paintings and statutes including the Venus de Milo and of course Mona Lisa.

What makes Paris special is the number of artists that have been attracted to this great city. Napoleon’s Arc de Triomphe on Champs Elysees, another Paris landmark with the names of his generals engraved upon to honor them and his troops. It also features an observatory to take in surrounding views.

Paris has a variety of places to which is impossible to list all here. Many of these places shouldn’t be missed. No wonder that people coming to Paris for just couple of days quickly realize that they would need a few more days to see all the great and famous places there.  And that is a good reason to come back to this amazing city.
