For the past 3 days Merrion Park in the hearth of Dublin has transformed into one of the most exciting venues in the city – The Street Performance World Championship.

16 world-class street performers came to Dublin to compete in the third annual Street Perforrmance World Championship. Sword swallowers, contortionists, aerial acts, magicians competed at this free festival together with the current World Champion, Australia’s Space Cowboy.

The performance I enjoyed most this year was the Swedish magician Charlie Caper. Wow, this man really do some magic tricks. Pulling the can of Coke from his shoes, crumpled an empty can in front of you and then holding the can, make it to its original shape, unopened with coke inside. I couldn’t believe it. How did he do this?

The festival is better every year, and I cannot wait for the next year one. It is really worth to see this.

Almost everybody had once problem with a household pests like termites, ants and other insects. It is very annoying and to get rid of them takes usually weeks, sometime even months. About a year ago, we had a problem with termites. Termites primarily feed on wood, but also damage paper, books and even insulation. As they are serious pests, control termites are best to left to the professionals.

The Street Performance World Championship is coming back to Dublin this weekend. It is the third time, the artist, acrobats and other performers will meet in Dublin’s Merrion Park to show their tricks and skills. I have been there both previous years, and every year the show is getting better and better. It is well established and well known venue in Dublin now, and this year is to be the most attractive. About 16 different performers will introduced themselfs this year. Some of them already known from last years, like an Australian Space Cowboy, my favourit performer of all.

It is going to be a cracking weekend, so make sure you don’t miss it.

The Azores…  a Portuguese archipelago way out in the Atlantic Ocean. The Azores is archipelago of nine major Azorean islands and eight small Formigas, and all of the islands have volcanic origins.

The mountain of Pico, at 2,351 m (7,713 ft) is the highest mountain in all of Portugal. The Azores are actually the tops of some of the tallest mountains on the planet, as measured from their base at the bottom of the ocean. The archipelago forms the Autonomous Region of Azores, one of the two autonomous regions of Portugal.

Apart from the mountains, Azores are known for their beautiful scenery and waterfalls.
